Extra food happens

Businesses, farms, and other nonprofits often end up with more food than they can sell or use. We pick it up and share it through our free food stand in Trotwood, other organizations, and community events.

How It Works

The Trotwood Food Stand

Our free food stand is one of the ways we share rescued food with the community. Food is brought to the stand as it becomes available, so there are no regular distribution days or hours.

Your donation helps make food rescue possible! It pays for the fuel, vehicles, refrigeration, equipment, supplies, and people it takes to rescue and redistribute hundreds of thousands of pounds of surplus food each year.
